Niko Darby is the visionary Founder and CEO of Orboltix®, a cutting-edge technology firm founded in 2020 with the mission to transform the landscape of artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity. With a strong foundation in scientific research and technical expertise, Darby combines years of academic achievement with hands-on leadership to drive innovation at the intersection of technology and security.
After earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Sewanee: The University of the South, Darby pursued graduate studies at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, earning a Master’s degree in Data Science and certifications in Cybersecurity Operations and Data Science. These academic milestones equipped him with the critical skills and knowledge to address some of the most pressing challenges in the tech industry.
Darby’s entrepreneurial journey at Orboltix® began with his commitment to advancing secure, AI-driven technology solutions. Drawing on his diverse expertise, he personally engineered the company’s core infrastructure and developed a suite of groundbreaking technologies, including the Hypcampex® video game series, the Fovea® video conferencing platform, the Cyber Plan® cybersecurity application, and the Robo Chat® social media platform. Each of these products is built on a zero-trust architecture, integrating machine learning, deep learning, and other AI techniques to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.
As a leader, Darby is dedicated to cultivating talent and fostering innovation. Through Orboltix®’s proprietary Fovea® platform, he trains contractors and interns, equipping them with the skills necessary to deliver world-class consulting services to the company’s diverse client base.
